Frequently Asked Questions
1. I am a South Indian. Will the meal plan suit my food preferences?
Yes. Being a South Indian myself, I understand the cuisine and can easily tailor your meal plan around familiar foods.
I also work with clients who prefer North Indian meals, so your plan will always be designed around the foods you are comfortable cooking and eating.
2. I work, so I want the meal plan to be simple and not take too much time to prepare.
The meal plan is designed to be simple, practical and easy to prepare. I prioritize meals that don’t take hours to cook, so you can follow the plan without feeling overwhelmed.
3. Regarding the 3-month program, you have mentioned that you provide a meal plan, but also say the program isn’t for people who want a new meal plan every week. What does that mean?
Great question. You will receive a structured meal plan initially to guide you and help you understand balanced meal combinations. However, one of the goals of the program is to help you come up with your meal combinations, so you don’t have to rely on a meal plan forever.
This approach helps you follow the eating habits even after the program ends, and also makes it easier to manage situations like eating out or seasonal changes in foods.
4. Do I need to cook separate meals for myself?
In most cases, no. The meal plan is designed around simple, everyday foods, so you can often eat the same meals as your family with small adjustments, if needed.
This makes it much easier to follow the plan.
5. What is the difference between the single consultation and the 3-month program? Which one is right for me?
A single consultation is ideal if you’re looking for clarity and direction on how to improve your eating habits. It is suitable for those who want one-time guidance on healthy eating and feel confident implementing the changes on their own.
The 3-month program, on the other hand, is a coaching-based approach. This allows us to work together over time to build sustainable habits. It is better suited for individuals who need support, accountability and ongoing guidance, especially when working on specific health conditions such as diabetes or prediabetes.
6. When it comes to the diet plan, does it include both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options? Also, do you try to build the plan around the foods we already eat at home with some modifications, or does it usually involve completely new dishes?
I provide vegetarian, non-vegetarian and/or ovo-vegetarian meal options based on your food preferences.
I build the plan around the foods you eat at home with some modifications as per your goals. And, if you're open to trying new dishes, we can explore that too.
7. Do I need to buy or do something before joining the program?
Yes, having a fresh blood test done, if the last one was done before 3 months is recommended. Having measuring cups and spoons would be helpful.
